چکیده
Abstract Background Iron [Fe] deficiency is one of the nutritional issues plants, especially in calcareous soils which iron-fertilizers are used to solve this obstacle. Due pivotal role iron, introduction efficient, cost-effective, and eco-friendly strategies necessary prevent its plants. The nanoparticle-based formulations may provide efficient bioavailability, subsequently, reduce amount required dosage nutrients for extended periods, decrease environmental risks. Results In study, effects different iron nanoparticles (NPs) including Fe 3 O 4 (Fe ), citric acid coated @CA), humic @HA), EDTA @EDTA) were investigated as sources on vegetative growth physiological parameters tomato a model plant soil system. experimental results showed that organically NPs significantly increased shoot enhanced growth. highest lowest was observed @HA control treatments, respectively. addition, using NPs, yield. Conclusions This study promising supplementation. particular, acid-coated @HA) determined be most promising, due more benefits yield compared NPs. Therefore, nanofertilizer can introduced an inexpensive, effective, bioavailable, biocompatible option address soil. Graphical

Removal of Fe2+ from Aqueous Solution Using Manganese Oxide Coated Zeolite and Iron Oxide Coated Zeolite
The adsorption of Fe2+ by the manganese oxide coated zeolite (MOCZ) and iron oxide coated zeolite (FOCZ) was studied. Surface properties of adsorbents have been investigated for monitoring their changes and morphology for both of the MOCZ and FOCZ. Main variables namely; contact time, pH, initial concentration of Fe2+, size and dosage of adsorbent have been optimized, and the results contrasted...
متن کاملSynthesis of Silica-coated Iron Oxide Nanoparticles: Preventing Aggregation Without Using Additives or Seed Pretreatment
The Stober process is frequently used to prepare silica-coated iron oxide nanoparticles. This is usually achieved by seeding a reaction mixture consisting of water, ethanol and a catalyst with iron oxide particles and adding a silica precursor. The hydrolysis and condensation of precursor monomers results in the deposition of a silica layer on iron oxide particles. However, this process is acco...
متن کاملDevelopment and use of iron oxide nanoparticles (Part 1): Synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles for MRI
Contrast agents, such as iron oxide, enhance MR images by altering the relaxation times of tissues in which the agent is present. They can also be used to label targeted molecular imaging probes. Unfortunately, no molecular imaging probe is currently available on the clinical MRI market. A promising platform for MRI contrast agent development is nanotechnology, where superparamagnetic iron oxid...

متن کاملBiocompatibility of chitosan-coated iron oxide nanoparticles with osteoblast cells
BACKGROUND Bone disorders (including osteoporosis, loosening of a prosthesis, and bone infections) are of great concern to the medical community and are difficult to cure. Therapies are available to treat such diseases, but all have drawbacks and are not specifically targeted to the site of disease. Chitosan is widely used in the biomedical community, including for orthopedic applications. The ...
